The Sons of Liberty were a secret group of colonists from Boston. Samuel Adams was the leader. The Sons of Liberty started protests and boycotts against goods and British taxes on goods from things like the Stamp, Sugar, and Intolerable Acts.

The Sons of Liberty were a secret organization of people who wanted to do something about the King. They were craftsmen, merchants, and lawyers. These people led protests against British taxes. I think they were important because they were the people who stood up and decided to do something about what was going on.
